Dr. Habeeb brings a design perspective to her research in environmental planning and health. With a focus on designing local interventions, she investigates ways to engage and empower individuals to respond to current and future environmental problems by synthesizing research in climate change, public health and environmental sensing. Her research explores how climate responsive design can help mitigate climate change and address environmental challenges to improve the health of individuals and communities
