My clinical research includes collaborative work with cardiology using novel technology to explore sympathetic nerve activity in patients with sleep disorders.
My other interests include exploring the effect of obstructive sleep apnea on skull base thickness and the use of MRI in assessing the distensibility of the upper airway as it relates to sleep apnea and the use of CPAP. We are also exploring whether early diagnosis of sleep apnea impacts the management of diabetes mellitus.
