My primary research interests pertain to church/state relations involving schools, free expression rights, equity concerns, privatization of education, and student engagement at the high school level.
My primary area is educational law and policy, specifically church/state relations, privatization of education, student and employee free expression rights, sexual harassment, and other equity issues. Secondary areas of research focus on educational leadership programs and faculty, preK-12 school reform, and student engagement in the learning process.
