Our laboratory has long standing interest in protein regulators and noncoding RNAs in the DNA damage response, especially as they relate to genome stability, tumor initiation and progression. 

My research was focused on the DNA damage signaling pathway and human cancer.

We will examine whether inhibiting Wip1 and miR-21 will sensitize Her2+ breast tumors to trastuzumab treatment in breast cancer mouse model.
