Expertise

Gaski's areas of particular interest and clinical expertise include treatment of pelvic and acetabular fractures, nonunion (failure of bone to heal), malunion (bone deformity), and osteomyelitis (bone infection).  He is proficient in the use of both circular external fixators and internal leg lengthening devices for complex deformities, infection and limb salvage.

Gaski has served as a principal investigator and site investigator at several local and national research trials studying pelvic ring injuries, the inflammatory response in severely injured trauma patients, blood clot medication and severe lower leg injuries.
