Expertise

Our primary focus is to use the fly model to identify circuits and genes that function in nociception.

Our lab is interested in mechanisms that allow innate behaviors to be encoded by genomes.

Research:

  • Neurogenetics and Drosophila.

Research Interests:

  • behavior; developmental mechanisms and regulation in eukaryotic systems; eukaryotic cell biology; cytoskeleton and signaling.

Subject Area:

  • Biology.

Research:

  • Larval escape locomotion
  • Remote control of behavior
