Dr. Yiannoutsos performs application-motivated research. He is interested in diagnostic test validation, sequential models, clinical-trial design and Bayesian methods.  His biomedical research focus is in HIV/AIDS, particularly in research-constrained settings in low to middle-income countries (LMIC).
