Expertise

His laboratory currently focuses on establishing the role of TRPC channels in the metabolic syndrome-associated atherosclerosis using the Ossabaw pig model. The other projects investigate the mechanisms regulating the contractility of the uterus, the mechanisms underlying endothelial dysfunction in a mouse aorta model, traumatic brain injury-associated vascular dysfunction, diabetic neuropathy, catecholamine secretion regulation in adrenal chromaffin cells, and the function of SLC4A11 transporters in the corneal endothelium.
