I have pursued this interest using a variety of research approaches, including genetic selection studies in mice, single neuron recording in awake, behaving rats, studies of the circadian entrainment properties of drugs of abuse, and most recently, laboratory studies of human alcohol intake using iv infusion of alcohol solutions.
