  • Acquired neurogenic communication disorders resulting from traumatic brain injury, stroke, brain trauma as degenerative neurological processes
  • Impact of Interprofessional Education on student perception of competency and patient outcomes

Her clinical interests include assessment and treatment of neurogenic cognitive and communication disorders including stroke, brain injury and progressive disorders, dementia; dysphagia/swallowing disorders, counseling and interprofessional practice and education.

Research Interests: lexical development in infants and young children; fast mapping in early word learning; word comprehension-production gap; category knowledge, semantic priming, and naming; relationship between speech and gesture
