I earned my MSN at Walden University in 2013 where I studied nursing informatics and leadership and management.  I have been teaching in the nursing field since 2007, as an adjunct clinical instructor, at the University of St. Francis. In 2014 I was promoted to professor of nursing and started teaching full time with Breckinridge School of Nursing. I primarily have taught obstetrics and women’s health, geriatrics, and critical care. I have also served as the Dean of Nursing for two years at Harrison College.Prior to that, I worked as an RN for thirteen years, mostly in labor and delivery and ten years as an LPN, mostly in geriatrics. I was honored to start as a faculty member with Indiana University School of Nursing, Fort Wayne as a Clinical Assistant Professor in 2020.
