In addition there is a 24-foot tall climber in the shape of a grapevine that allows people to enter a maze through which they climb to the ceiling of the museum. An outdoor nature habitat permits the exploration of nature and environmental topics. The museum is located at 308 W. 4th St, Bloomington, IN; it is about 1 block west of the courthouse square. Hours are Tuesday - Saturday, 9:30 am - 5 pm and Sunday, 1 pm - 5 pm. Prof. Olmer is the Executive Director of the WonderLab Museum of Science, Health and Technology in Bloomington, Indiana. The museum features over 25 hands-on exhibits and activities, as well as special programs. In addition, WonderLab has an outreach program which travels to locations in south-central Indiana. WonderLab provides hands-on science activities for a locally produced television show (The Friday Zone on the local PBS affiliate), and also writes a half-page science feature in the local newspaper. The museum is located in a temporary facility in downtown Bloomington. A $3.85M capital campaign is underway to construct a larger facility on downtown land that has been donated to WonderLab by the city of Bloomington.
