Expertise
I earned my Master of Science in Nursing Education from Western Governor's University in 2014. Prior to this, I completed 9 years of Nursing in various areas including Neonatal Intensive Care, Postpartum, Hospice, Acute Long Term Care and Medical/Surgical. Since earning my Master's degree, I have worked as an associate professor. I have taught didactic classes including Med/Surg, Maternal Health, Nursing Lab, and Pediatrics. I have also taught various nursing clinicals that include Medical/Surgical, Mental Health, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Community Nursing. I am looking forward to continuing my education, and earning my Doctorate of Nursing Practice sometime in the near future.

I have a special interest in breast cancer research. Specifically, I would like to research the impact of diagnosis and treatment on breast cancer patients' mental health and implement a depression screening following treatment.
