As a University Fellowship fellow at AUC, she conducted comprehensive research on gender based constitutional design with a focus on the unique circumstances in the Middle Eastern region, in particular the relationship between religious and gender rights within the constitutional framework. Valentina’s research interests include gender-based constitutional design, feminist legal critique and Islamic Jurisprudence.
