Her research deals with former Yugoslav literature and culture, cultural and intellectual history, and postcolonial studies. She is currently working on a book manuscript that analyzes the cultural history of the Yugoslav socialist period, and especially the literary canon of the 20th century. Her broader interests include popular culture, political economy, Russian intellectual history, and cultural studies.
