Expertise
Marc Jacobson joined the faculty at Herron in 1990. His work has been exhibited in group shows across the U.S., including: “High Roads & Low Roads: Anthems, Dirges, Myths” at Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts, an exhibition of work inspired by the American highway; “Otherworlds: Midwest Urban and Industrial Landscapes” at the SoFA Gallery of Indiana University; and in “Three Generations” at Elaine Erickson Gallery in Milwaukee. Solo exhibitions include: Allen Sheppard Gallery in New York; Taylor University in Upland, Indiana; and Columbia College, Columbia Missouri. Jacobson has been represented three times in issues of New American Paintings. Jacobson was honored to receive an Efroymson Contemporary Arts Fellowship in 2004. In 2016, his work was published in INPA5, the International Painting Annual of Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati.
