My research interests include emerging assistive technologies, multisensory information access, computing ethics, and computer science education.
The INSITE lab is an emerging assistive technologies research lab that focuses on multi-sensory spatial information access in its many forms. Much of our work involves non-visual navigation solutions for Blind and Visually Impaired individuals, however, we also used mixed reality solutions and other technologies to help people explore both indoor and outdoor environments, learn abut complex scenes through spatial language and accessible multimodal interfaces.
My primary research interests are focused on human-computer interactions and emerging assistive technologies.
My computer science research span a diverse set of interdisciplinary topics working with colleagues in digital and computational studies, philosophy, cinema, education and psychology.
