My research interests lie in social-developmental psychology. In particular, I’m interested in the role of socio-cultural influences (e.g., parents, teachers, and peers) on child and adolescent social-emotional development (e.g., peer relationships, internalizing/externalizing problems) and academic development (e.g., learning difficulties), and ethnic differences in these experiences.
The influence of sociocultural factors (e.g., parents, teachers, peers) and processes (e.g., stigma, biases, help-seeking) on child and adolescent psychological, social, and academic functioning, and ethnic and gender group differences in these experiences.
