I have broad interests in basic and applied science and engineering related to coupled hydrologic, geologic, chemical, and biological processes, functions, and effects within estuarine, terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems. In particular, I am interested in better comprehending the influence of human activities on these processes, functions, and effects, ultimately leading to restoration of human-impacted natural systems.
