Research is focused on the elucidation of nutritional requirements of aquaculture species with actual or potential economic importance to the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the United States, to design and implement basic and applied nutritional experiments on finfish and crustacean aquaculture species, to design and develop a finfish and crustacean nutrition program at Kentucky State University, and to assist interested producers and feed mills in formulation of nutritious, economically viable aquaculture diets.
