Expertise

Dr. Braxton Lloyd is the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs and Outreach (CAO) for Auburn University’s Harrison College of Pharmacy and a Gilliland Professor of Pharmacy Practice. She also serves as the Chief Pharmacy Officer for Auburn University and works closely with AU’s Department of Business and Finance and Human Resources in this role.  She is a nationally-recognized expert in pharmacy innovation. She has developed, implemented, assessed, validated, and expanded innovative practice models for large, self-insured employers in academic, state government, and private settings.  Her research centers on practice model development, interprofessional practice, reimbursement models, applied pharmacoeconomics, and outcomes evaluation.
