Her research interests include industrial organization, health economics and applied econometrics. She is interested in studying the innovation and competitive strategies of firms in the pharmaceutical industry. In particular, she studies the research and development activities, co-development and outsourcing contracts and marketing decisions of pharmaceutical companies in USA and in the global economy. Banerjee teaches microeconomics and health economics.

My research interest is in Economics of Innovation, Public Policy, Behavioral Health, Outreach and Applied Microeconomics.
