Peresin specializes in the isolation and functionalization of bio-based polymers for the development of value added materials from renewable biomass for novel applications, surface chemistry and interactions of plant cell wall components.

Her research interests include biopolymers interfacial phenomena, structure-function relationship between agri-forest feedstock and natural polymers performance, nanocomposites, nanotechnology and materials, polymers, colloidal and surface science.

My research areas are related to Innovation in Education, Education for Sustainable Development and Sustainability of Productivity in the manufacturing and logistics sector.
