Dr. Jordan teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in American institutions (especially Congress and the Presidency), political behavior, and political science research methods. His research focuses on lawmaking in Congress, especially how lawmaking strategies have evolved over time. His research further seeks to uncover whether changing lawmaking strategies systematically affect how representative policy is of constituent interests and whether lawmaking affects and Congressional approval.
