She is currently investigating the science and engineering embedded in traditional crafts, hoping to turn her findings into more curricula for elementary and middle school teachers to use.

The Schnittka STEM Curriculu-Lab is located at 2464 Haley Center, Auburn University, AL, and focuses on the design process of creating, testing, and evaluating STEM lessons, especially  engineering design-infused science curricula.

I develop and research engineering design-based curriculum for K-12 formal and informal settings.
