Dr. Molaison's research interests include prevalence of childhood obesity, school nutrition wellness, community based participatory research, and quality assessment and management in clinical nutrition.

Teaching interests are in the area of clinical nutrition and clinical nutrition management, with a focus on competency-based education and assessment.

Research interests: Dr. Molaison's primary research interest focuses on childhood obesity prevalence and trends, racial disparities in childhood obesity, and impact of school nutrition wellness policies on health outcomes of students. Additionally, her research interests include utilizing community based participatory research to enhance health, using behavioral theories to predict dietary patterns and health outcomes, and assessing outcomes in the clinical nutrition setting.
