My interests in teaching and research are in the area of Synthetic Organic Chemistry.

My research interests lie in the development of new synthetic methodology utilizing allyl organometallics. Our projects fall into three main categories: 1) new organic reactions mediated by eco-friendly indium and bismuth reagents and catalysts, 2) development of new asymmetric catalysts, and 3) synthesis of biologically active molecules including anti-cancer and anti-alzheimers agents.
