My current interests center around operating an effective department. I teach the senior design courses and advise the College of Engineering Honor Students in the department. My professional interests, while limited at the present time, are in water resources and environmental engineering. I have worked many years with agriculturalists, biologists and environmental scientists on interdisciplinary education and research.

Dr. Koelliker is a native Kansan. Most of his career has been devoted to teaching and research, particularly on aspects of water resources systems and the impact of agricultural activities on water supply and water quality. He previously served 19 years as a faculty member in Civil Engineering at K-State. He was appointed to his present position as Professor and Head of the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department at K-State in 1997. He is a registered professional engineer in Kansas and Colorado.
