Judy Boerger joined Parkview in 2007 and serves as the Chief Nursing Executive and Senior Vice President. She represents all of Parkview Health’s nurses at the executive council level. Throughout her career, she has lead a variety of clinical and non-clinical functions to include all nursing aspects, as well as pharmacy, environmental services, and nutritional services. She has experience in new healthcare facility construction, most recently completing a 200,000 square foot Cancer Institute in 2018, a critical access community hospital replacement in 2018, and a 430-bed acute care hospital in 2012. In 2017, Parkview received a system Magnet designation.
Judy earned an MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, an MSN from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and is a Johnson and Johnson Wharton School of Business Nursing Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a 2013 American Hospital Association National Patient Safety Fellow. She is Board Certified as a Nursing Executive Advanced by the ANCC. She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the National Honor Society for Nursing Sigma Theta Tau, the Indiana Organization for Nurse Executive, American Nurses Association, and the American Holistic Nursing Association. She is an Executive Board Member and President-Elect for 2020 of the Indiana Center for Nursing.
