Dr. Ludwig has been involved in multiple collaborative studies in her practice as a breast surgeon, both with local collaboration via the IU School of Medicine and nationally.
I am interested in looking at the management of women who are at high risk of developing breast cancer, evaluating their choices regarding screening and risk reduction and the outcomes of each.
Dr. Ludwig's clinical interests involve all aspects of breast care, including surgical management of women with breast cancer, benign breast disease, and surveillance/risk reduction of high risk women. Her surgical interests include nipple sparing mastectomy, oncoplastic breast surgery, and axillary management.
