Expertise

Research Interests:

  • Algorithms in bioinformatics
  • Computational proteomics

My research focuses on computational proteomics, especially mass spectrometry-based top-down proteomics, which can identify various proteoforms in biological samples. My lab develops methods and software tools for top-down mass spectrometry-based proteoform identification, characterization, and quantitation.

Areas of Expertise:

  • Algorithmic biology
  • mass spectrometry
  • computational proteomics

Dr. Liu’s research focuses on computational proteomics, especially mass spectrometry-based top-down proteomics, which can identify various proteoforms with alterations in biological samples.
