Dr. Eaton’s research interests include preservice teacher training on classroom management, trauma responsive classrooms, and educator wellness. Dr. Eaton is a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholar Fellow and her research fellowship is focused on educator secondary traumatic stress, resiliency, and peer facilitated support.

She is passionate about mental health for all, including the elimination of mental health stigma through education and training. Other practice specialties include youth suicide prevention; social determinants of health; school crisis prevention, response, and intervention; and educator wellness.
