He received additional training in cardiac positron emission tomography and nuclear cardiology at the University of Michigan. Dr Sawada is a clinical investigator focused on research in echocardiography and nuclear cardiac imaging.
His clinical interests include evaluation of myocardial viability, and patients with complex valvular heart disease, pericardial diseases, congestive heart failure, and adults with congenital heart disease.
