Expertise

Dr. Chan is actively involved in the development of a clinical outcomes research program in pediatric urology at Riley Hospital.  Her research interests include shared decision-making and patient-centered outcomes for hypospadias surgery. She has NIH-funding to develop a hypospadias decision aid and a patient-centered tool to track long-term outcomes after hypospadias repair.  She is also interested in risk factors for the development of kidney stone disease in adolescents.\

Her clinical interests include pediatric stone disease, hypospadias, undescended testicles, vesicoureteral reflux and congenital upper tract anomalies including prenatal hydronephrosis.
