Dr. McDougle's research interests include the neurobiology and neuropsychopharmacology of childhood-onset neuropsychiatric disorders including autism and related pervasive developmental disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and Tourette's disorder. His work consists of collaborative efforts regarding genetic aspects of these disorders, psychopharmacology, and recent explorations into neuroimmune mechanisms.
