My research focuses on the intersection of communication technologies and social issues--both domestically and internationally. I have a particular interest in those issues as they relate to the Turkish people--both in Turkey and in the diaspora in Western Europe. Focus on issues that combine elements of information and communication technologies with an international social or political issue. Issues of gender equity in communication fields. Prof. Ogan's research focuses on issues of the intersection of communication technologies and international communication.
