Work in the Clear lab is in the area of bioorganic and supramolecular chemistry, with interests in the following areas:
- synthesis and design of organic receptors for molecular recognition of biological molecules
- organic-based materials for anion capture
- small molecule approaches to fluorescence imaging and sensing of biomolecules.
