My current research focuses on inequality-producing social processes within organizations. Specifically, I focus on how gender, race, ethnicity, and “foreignness” influence job candidate evaluations and legitimation of hiring decisions. 

My research focuses on gender and racial inequality in labor markets and in the workplace. I also teach courses on race and ethnicity, work, and research design.
