My 35+ years of nursing have given me great satisfaction and joy. After 25 years of bedside nursing in cardiac and wound care, I became a full-time faculty member at IPFW. I continued my education, completing a certification as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner in 2016. I enjoy teaching new students the art of nursing: communication, empathy, and passion. I love when a concept becomes clear and the student wants to learn more.
