Carolyn Murry Lecturer

Carolyn Murry draws upon her experience in the field of health care to help ensure that students in SOIC’s Health Information Management program will succeed.

A former director of medical billing and coding and health care management at Medtech College, Murry is a member of the American Health Information Management Association, Indiana Health Information Management Association, and Toastmasters International. She also volunteers with the Council for Excellence in Education (CEE) Workgroup that maintains state-of-the-art model curricula at all educational levels.

A certified Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Murry’s previous positions include director of health information technology at American National University; instructor at Harrison College; and positions at ADECCO, University of Southern Indiana, University of Cincinnati, The Christ Hospital and University of Cincinnati Hospital.
