Expertise

Research wise, I focus on Oncology nursing, symptom clusters, symptom management, and women’s health. I have worked on identifying symptom clusters in breast cancer patients to help this population improve their quality of life. I am currently working on cognitive training in cancer survival patients, and I am collaborating on international oncology studies too. My future research focuses on identifying the effect of social support on oncology patient’s psychological well-being. My research passion also helped me emerge in nursing education research. I am eager to improve the educational settings for our nursing students by providing more evidence based research studies that shows factors affecting student course evaluation across different nursing programs to help nursing faculty understand and improve their teaching to the best.
