Expertise
Mila Walker’s current scholarship interests are excellence in teaching, curriculum enhancement, faculty and peer mentoring and improving the process of transition from clinical practice into an adjunct faculty role.
Mila is the course leader for Biophysical Processes- Clinical Care I (Medical-Surgical) and teaches both didactically and clinically. Mila teaches in the RN to BSN Consortium and is the course leader for Aging with Dignity.
Mila is board-certified in medical-surgical nursing. She has extensive quality improvement/assessment of learning, risk management and physician relations experience.
Mila Walker received the Outstanding Faculty of the Year Award from the class of May 2015.
