Expertise

I am a Sr. Applied Scientist in the Product Graph team at Amazon, Seattle, currently focusing on research and development of knowledge extraction techniques to build an authoritative, high quality knowledge base of products and product-related knowledge for Amazon and its customers.

Broadly speaking, my interest lies in exploring applied problems that can benefit from techniques in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Social Media Data Analysis, and Semantic Web technologies.

In general, I am interested in Machine Learning theory and algorithms, and how they enable applications in Semantic Web, Natural Language Processing, Web Science, Business Analytics and any data mining task in general. My work regularly deals with structured knowledge bases, so I am also interested in understanding Knowledge Representation and Organization techniques that are essential for efficient information retrieval, question/answering and any kind of intelligent reasoning
