Etien Santiago is a licensed architect and architectural historian who studies the links between technology, architecture, and society. He specializes in architectural history and theory from the late nineteenth century to the present, architects’ explorations of materials and construction methods, as well as theoretical debates about technological change.

Etien teaches architectural studio, architectural history, and structures courses in the J. Irwin Miller Architecture program based in Columbus, Indiana.
