His research interests include: flow and contaminant transport in groundwater aquifers, understanding the transport of anthropogenic contaminants in rivers, estuaries and coastal systems, oil spill management, and application of numerical models for simulating complex environmental systems. He is also interested in developing laboratory and field-scale experiments to study the fundamentals of environmental transport processes.
