Hannah Baggett's research projects include qualitative research about preservice and practicing teachers' beliefs, with a focus on justice and equity orientations; a state-wide analysis of school discipline policy and practice in Alabama; and outreach work that engages alternative school students in youth research to promote community belonging and empowerment.

Her research interests include critical theories, race and education, and educator beliefs. She also has particular interest in qualitative and participatory methods as they intersect with social justice issues.
